Core Pillars: Technique – Conditioning – Support
Technique
Experience high-repetition drills to enhance technique and cognitive abilities, ensuring you excel in every aspect of your game.
Key Focus Areas:
- Defenders: Defensive heading, mastering 1v1 situations, anticipating and intercepting passes.
- Midfielders: Passing and receiving techniques, variety of passing styles, mastering different types of crosses.
- Attackers: Finishing from crosses, shooting accuracy, effective combination play.
Conditioning
Each session begins with strength and conditioning exercises to enhance speed, strength, and agility, essential attributes for excelling on the pitch.
Key Focus Areas:
- Strength Training: Programs tailored to your specific needs and goals. Workouts incorporating football-specific movements designed to elevate performance.
- Speed Training: Plyometric drills, running mechanics, resistance and sprint load variations.
- Agility & Balance Development: Ladder drills, change of direction exercises, explosive movements, BOSU and resistance band variations.
Support
At Core Football, we prioritise holistic player development. Our program includes 24/7 support for players and parents, as well as monthly Zoom sessions focused on player progress and building resilience off the pitch. We also provide essential mindset development tools to foster success, boost confidence, and cultivate a positive mental approach.
